Charlie Hunter Tonight at the Domino Room

Posted By on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 9:03 PM

Jazzy? Funky? Excellently danceable? Yes, yes and yes. If you're wondering what my string of rhetorical questions is in reference to, here's an answer: The Charlie Hunter Trio.

The band is playing tonight at the Domino Room for a show that will provide you with some of the best instrumental sounds you're likely to hear this year in Bend. Is that a bold claim? Yeah, probably, but if you'd ever seen Hunter and company in action, it's pretty damn accurate.

Rather than continue to dish out another string of rhetorical questions, here's a video of Hunter and his trio. Tonight's show kicks off 7:30pm. Adam Carlson Trio opens.
