The White Buffalo Tonight at the Silver Moon

The White Buffalo kicks off his tour tonight at Bend's Silver Moon Brewing.

Now and again, Bend finds an out-of-town musician and fully embraces him or her, repeatedly packing their shows whenever they stop off in town. That seems to be the case with The White Buffalo (aka Jake Smith), a beardy Americana road warrior known for his boozy songs about, among other things, boozing.

The White Buffalo plays tonight at the Silver Moon Brewing Co. as the first show of a tour that takes him back down to his native Los Angeles before heading out to Canada and the South. He's about to release a new EP, Prepare for Black and Blue, which should feature some of the songs we've heard him play during his shows here.

Tonight's show begins at 9pm and is $13 at the door.
