Wednesday's Laura Veirs and Weinland show is the last PDXchange Program gig of the year

Laura Veirs' show at the Tower is the last PDXchange show of 2010.

When you look back at 2010 -- which may go down as a big year for music in Bend -- one of the things we have to recognize was the arrival of the PDXchange Program, the concert series that has brought big Portland indie acts into the Tower Theatre since its inception this spring.

Henry Abel, the local mastermind behind this whole enterprise, has confirmed that Wednesday's Laura Veirs and Weinland show will be the last of 2010, meaning that there won't be another PDXchange show for quite some time. If you haven't made it to one of these shows, make a point to check this one out -- you'll see the Tower in a completely new light.

Tickets are still available and are only $15 (plus fee) at towerthreatre.org.
