Bela Fleck returns to Bend for another holiday show on December 8.

Banjo master Bela Fleck, who happens to be one of my top five instrumentalists (and should be in your top five, too) is coming back to Bend, this time as part of a fundraiser for KPOV, our community radio station.

The show is slated for December 8 at Mountain View High School and tickets just went on sale today. You can buy them online right here.

Fleck and his band, which features incredible musicians in bass player Victor Wooten and saxophonist Jeff Coffin (now a member of the Dave Matthews Band), are touring in support of their Grammy-winning disc, Throw Down Your Heart, are are also likely to toss in some songs from their holiday record, Jingle all the Way.

I interviewed Fleck a couple years ago about both of those discs, here's that piece.
