Under the headline "You Knew It Had to Happen," Jake at the Utterly Boring blog reports that T-shirts commemorating Bend's Famous Pregnant Man will go on sale soon.

"The T-shirts are being done by Flash Ink, a local screen printing company," Jake writes. "They're going to go on sale on Wednesday, are $15, and are available by calling (541) 408-1308 or via e-mail at [email protected]."

Meanwhile, it appears that any lingering doubts about the legitimacy of the story have been laid to rest: Thomas Beatie and his wife Nancy have appeared on Oprah and confirmed that Thomas, a transgendered male, has conceived by artificial insemination and is expecting a baby girl in July.

Incidentally, on the Huffington Post site there's a photo of Thomas (formerly named Tracy) before his sex change, looking pretty damn hot.
