Crux Fermentation Project

"Best Dad's Night Out "2019" "Best Kid-Friendly Brewery 2019" "Best of the Nest" 2018 This is truly the living room of Bend: Set on a small hill, outdoor tables (and many indoor ones) faces postcard perfect views of Mt. Bachelor and the Three Sisters—and happy hour straddles a half-hour either side of sunset. A mix of in-house food and food cart fare. In-house, an amazing asiago-crusted grilled cheese sandwich and the charcuterie board are highlights of the menu comprised of salads and sandwiches.

2022 Takeout: 11:30am-9pm daily. Takeout through in-house and curbside pickup. Menu items include soups and pastas. No delivery.
Set on a small hill, and facing the western horizon and mountain range, the Crux brew-pub is reason enough for many people to move to Bend. It is as if Encyclopedia Brown grew up, opened a brewery, but kept his clubhouse; the cool kids’ hangout. Happy hour floats with the changes in season, running from 30 minutes before sunset to 30 minutes afterwards. The most lumbersexual of the breweries, with bold, friendly, and varied beers to match; while Off Leash is a refreshing session ale, the Doublecross is a no-nonsense dark Belgian.
