The Money In Your Cushions

To have a financial "cushion," I try to keep my monthly bills overpaid to the extent of at least one month ahead. With credit cards this is not possible. No matter how much I might pay this month (other than the total account balance), a minimum payment will still be required next month.

If, for example, I became hospitalized when I usually would have written and mailed my remittances, I could automatically become delinquent. And as a result, automatically my credit rating could change from excellent to poor.

THIS IS WRONG!
