Hal Sparks to Perform at The Tower Theatre on Saturday, April 30

Stand-up comedian Hal Sparks to appear in Bend, Oregon in April.

It seems lately Bend has started to make a name for itself as a comedy hot spot in Oregon. With the success of last fall's Last Comic Standing contest, comedy has been on Bendites' minds and with recent additions to the comedy scene like the Saturday Nite Jokers & Jams at the Bend Performing Arts Center it's no coincidence we're attracting bigger name comedians to our little mountain town. Luckily enough for comedy fans, Hal Sparks has recently announced a performance in Bend at the Tower Theatre on Saturday, April 30 at 7:30pm.

You may remember Sparks from the Showtime series Queer as Folk, where he starred as Michael, a gay man who enjoyed reading comic books. Or perhaps you laughed at his pop culture riffing on VH1's I Love the '70s, '80s, '90s, and New Millennium. Either way, the oddly handsome comic has managed to joke his way into the cultural landscape and we can't wait to catch his stand-up routine in person.
