If you're looking to save as much of your hard-earned scratch as possible for next week's Bend Brewfest but still want to sit in a cool movie theater and watch a sweet flick, Bend's newest independent screening facility has got the pic for you.
It may not be a summer blockbuster, but the 2012 documentary of the groundbreaking Brooklyn electro group LCD Soundsystem's final concert, Shut Up and Play the Hits is playing through August 17 at Tin Pan Theater.
The epic show held April 2, 2011 at New York's Madison Square Garden was truly a landmark event and thanks to directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern-- is preserved in cinematic glory.
Check out showings for just six bucks from now until Aug. 17 Tues-Thurs at 7:30pm with an additional 10 p.m. show on Fridays and a 6 p.m. showing on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
