Abortion should never be used as a contraception today with all the other sources available to women today. I am not against women having the right to choose, but the author is saying the sky is falling if the 15 week rule is to stand. That gives a women more than 3 months to make up her mind. Why would someone wait three months to make up their mind? If they were unsure that they didn't a child , then use all the other contraceptive choice available , until you are ready to conceive.
If there is a problem with the pregnancy, then that decision should be made with the help of a doctor.

    Ben must not play golf.
How do you equate all the plane owners in Sunriver are on the golf course, and that golf is the reason that they fly in.
Golf is played by all sorts of people, rich, poor, old, young, good player and bad players.
It is very easy to practice social distancing when walking the golf course.
Why would you not want people to find a way to exercise and get out in the fresh air in our current situation.
The golf courses have only the course open, not the restaurants or areas where people congregate.
Maybe Ben needs to learn how to play golf, so he can get education on how golf works in the social distancing environment. Instead of slamming something he knows nothing about.

I lived there for 30 years. We left last year because things have gotten ridiculously expensive, as well as the traffic, the huge growth. It costs way too much and is no longer fun to live there. Living there has become stressful with everyone having their own agendas, wanting to control the others and no one seems to listen to the old timers, so now the city and the newcomers have really diminished the quality of life. It is just another big city that is out of control.

The city bought Juniper Ridge years ago to develop into an industrial area. It was also supposed to be the location of the new OSU campus. The city has failed miserably with this area, Why not pave an area out there, provide sanitation, security and a shelter for the homeless and instruct them to go there if they want to stay in the Bend area. This would provide a safe location for the homeless and get them out of the neighborhoods.
