It's not a gun problem, it's a social problem. You need to make it harder on people who commit crimes with firearms and for people who cannot own firearms. A rifle, or pistol, is nothing but a tool. So let's make it harder for the legal people in this country to purchase firearms, and not really do anything to the criminals who are not supposed to have them. A firearm doesn't discriminate. That bullet goes where the barrel is pointed. It's the person pulling the trigger is the issue, not the tool. The lack of Education in this country is becoming a very bad problem. Please open up your eyes and educate yourself about firearms. It really sucks that people have the mindset that they can go out and handle their problems with a gun. We need to start teaching our children that guns are not toys. I knew that from a young age. Why don't you step back and think why gun violence is happening in this country. But everybody takes the pseudoscience and they run with it. Scientifically proven, an armed Society is a safe Society. Most people don't even know that they taught gun safety up until the sixties in schools. Is it going to order myself, I find the lack of education on this subject is running rampant. There's no such thing as an assault rifle. Assault is a verb. They're called battle rifles. How do I know this because I am a veteran. Taking away things from people doesn't fix the problem. Or making it harder for legal people to purchase a firearm doesn't solve the problem. It's making laws for felons and people who commit crimes with Firearms to be more strict.
