There needs to be more dedicated bike lanes and paths that are not shared with cars. Drivers are not paying attention and the roads were not originally designed for bike or pedestrian safety.

There have been some improvements but we need a lot more of it. With rising property taxes and higher average incomes, there should be plenty of money to keep Bend livable even while it grows.

High-density housing only makes sense when you can safely walk/bike to retail or restaurants. Otherwise, it is just cash-grab by developers and a quick way to make Bend unlivable.

There is a new toy store at Old Mill named Wild Child. Even though it just opened, I think that it might make it on this list at some point!
