Nothing about these stories are weird for Bend. This is typical news that happens all the time here. People are crazy and attack others in Bend, Visitors get lost all the time in Bend, and explosions and or fires also happen frequently in Bend or Central Oregon.

    Re: “Eco Eats
"Ethical and Environmental" reasons can be considered the same thing...you forgot to mention the other group of people who eat a plant based diet for their own personal health concerns. Over 600,000 people die every year from heart disease in this country and the plant based, whole food diet has been proven to reverse heart disease without the use of medications. Close to 70% of adults in the US between the ages of 20-75 are now obese. Many types of cancer people think are genetic or just appear out of nowhere are linked to processed meat and dairy products. "Taking a day off from animal products" is not cutting it for the environment, the animals, or the general health of citizens. Animal Agriculture is the leading cause of Global Warming, Deforestation, Water Depletion, Species Extinction, and Ocean Dead Zones. Think about that next "Earth Day" when you're sitting around a bunch of people stuffing their faces with cheeseburgers and hot dogs. "they believe industrialized farming of animals is bad for the environment and unsustainable"... It's not an opinion

Domestic cats kill between 1.4 and 3.7 billion birds per year. That's right, billions. Cats aren't going away and neither are lights... ANIMAL AGRICULTURE is the leading cause of global warming, water depletion, deforestation, species extinction, and ocean dead zones. Telling people to turn their lights off to save birds is ignoring the real problem

Putting cheese on a plant based burger completely defeats the purpose of eating the plant based burger. Personal health is one reason why people go plant based but you failed to mention the impact of animal agriculture on the planet. Animal Agriculture is the leading cause of Global Warming, Water Depletion, Deforestation, Species Extinction, and Ocean Dead Zones. But back to the personal health approach, dairy products are a nutritional disaster on human health and there are plant based cheeses that are locally made in Oregon that are 2 feet from those Beyond Burgers.

Essential Oils are a multi level marketing scam. Ditching dairy products completely and adopting a plant based diet should be one here... Since when is chicken soup (gross and unhealthy) an alternative approach to healthy living?

Ty King, somebody who has something to do with the Midtown Ballroom/Domino Room just messaged me asking if I was a girl or a dude... then blocked me. Can you say D-Bag?
