At this point, giving Ms. Larsen immunity from prosection in exchange for truthful confession of exactly what she corrupted as far as evidence. This would stop the waste of millions of dollars that is surley going to take place in cecking each and every case she may, or may not have, touched.
Her crime is severe, but doesn't warrant the State (our money) in spending this massive amount. In fact, it's exactly opposite of what we want now, and thats expediency in getting to the cases she corrupted. In not getting this done quickly will lead to other criminals being released because the State has no way of defending its position.

Want to see where the money went, look no further then your great transit system. Ironic, the roads are a mess because of the transit system that needs to use them.
You are subsidizing the transit system because it can't support itself, and now they want more routs and longer hours!

Opportunity to make new revenue through more taxes may be missed. How about just leaving it alone, the city does just fine in collection of other revenue sources (taxes), how about allowing people to keep some of their paycheck so they can buy other necessities from other businesses in our town. All the other towns are just tried ing to appease the anti pot smokers by saying "look at all this extra money we get, yippie, now let's go spend it on something new, and then we'll make sure the weed tax won't be enough to cover that so we'll get right back into the general fund".
