wow. So much negativity over a funny video. I'm an Oregon native, but new to Portland. I'm not a vegan (or even a vegetarian...and yes, I know the difference)...I don't brew my own beer at home...or even drink beer, really. I'm just an average guy from the coast who moved here because it's a great city with great people. Personally, I love that Portland is being recognized for the amazing (though slightly absurd) place that it is...and I have NO PROBLEM with new people coming here. That creates diversity, which Portland thrives on. Portland has it's own culture, which is great, and no one wants it to change...but that culture can't exist without diversity...and diversity can't exist without DIFFERENCES. Certain types of people can be annoying. True. It doesn't matter where they come from...what they eat (or drink); what they drive; or what they look like. Douche bags exist in every corner of the world....but so do good people. Those of you who feel threatened by "new things" or "new people" belong in the "douche bag" category, by the way.
