I am a cyclist that has stopped riding our streets because it is simply too dangerous. The laws that are in effect about cyclists rights do not save your life. Arrogance will kill you folks that think you have the right of way when in reality, tonnage does. What makes you fools think that you can proceed thru an intersection when a truck / trailer rig is making a right turn ? I have cyclists, and especially pedestrians that think when the sun is in the eyes of westbound traffic on Colorado with all of the ridiculous red pedestrian Stop signs, that they will be seen, because hey, it is the law. The law will not save your life if you cant be seen. Get some common sense on your side and you will survive our roads on your bike.

Deer in the city now have become outright trespassing varmints that will destroy your yard ! It is no different than the trespassing cat issue. If a deer comes into my yard they will repeatedly be shot in the hind quarter with my stinging high powered pellet gun.

    Re: “Sharing the road
What cyclists really need to understand, is that tonnage has the right of way, and when you are in super close proximity to vehicles, especially trucks, and in a town where drivers are texting, or uptight about the traffic, you need to not think that the law is going to save your life when competing with 2-4 ton vehicles. the last two people that lost their lives had the law on their side, so ride knowing that you can get smashed any moment by someone can't see you. Most cyclists, and far worse, pedestrians do not get it that crossing in front of you when your westbound into the sun, that they can't be seen ! extremely dangerous, high risk riding in this town. The law will not save your life. Only common sense will. Mike Sullivan
