The Dirty Words started their musical venture in Bend. You might recognize Dave Clemmer as the friendly glasses-wearing fella who rang up your records at the former Boomtown. The band is on a brief hiatus, guitarist Aaron Poplin has joined Portland's '70s-psychedelic-rockers Black Pussy, along with another former-Bendite Keith Odell, the ex-keys player for Empty Space Orchestra. Who knows the next time this act will be playing together, don't miss it. Listen to their music HERE.

If you're living in Bend and you don't know who the Autonomics are, you've been living under a musical rock. The local youngsters have been covered and praised by just about every media outlet in town. The three-piece moved up to Portland to test their luck in a larger music scene, but frequently make appearances in their hometown, including 2011's Roots Festival, and 2012's Bite of Bend. Scroll down to check out their music on Spotify. They'll be back in Bend on March 8th at the Horned Hand.
