Like mentioned above, possibly the old KOA in North Bend. Many of the ppl who would rely on this facility need to be close to job locations, bus stops, food, and services. I believe there are many who have hit hard times and need a safe place to live while getting some help. Many believe all the houseless are drug addicts and/or mentally unstable. That is not the case, many just need help and support until they can get back on their feet. I'd love it if Bend didn't have any poverty, drug addicts, or mental illness, but it's now a reality everywhere and we need can't just hope they go somewhere else. There is no evidence for the "If you build it they will come theory".
