Cold? Bored? Go See The Hobbit

It's finally here.

After the release of trailer in December 2011, and speculation from Tolkien-loving-nerds for the last 10 years, you can finally see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey for yourself and form your own hateful conclusions about how much Peter Jackson is effing up your favorite book series in way too many frames per second. That is, if you have 170 minutes to spare.

Run, Bilbo! Run away from the criticism!
  • Run, Bilbo! Run away from the criticism!

Here are some scathing reviews from The Atlantic, The Huffington Post and The Washington Post. Curse your betrayal, Peter Jackson!

So why would you pay $10 to see this flick if the reviews are less than great?
a) If you're a total dork like me, Middle Earth never gets old, so you'll love the movie regardless.
b) To form your own opinion of course! Who cares what these jerk critics say?
c) Because it's something to do in a warm theater for three-ish hours when it's freezing cold outside.

Enjoy!
