Where and what to eat when the bunny comes

Easter Brunches

Often overlooked (well, it is downstairs after all), this sleek subterranean setting offers a traditional variety from tasty crepes to prime rib.

Awbrey Glen

9.30 am – 1 pm

$29.95 adults, $12.95 kids 6-12, free 5 and under

Mountain views pair well with a variety of freshly baked pastries, ham and a range of offerings for kids in a country-club setting.

Black Butte Ranch

9:30 am - 3 pm.

$39.95 adults, $18.95 children 5-12, free 4 and younger

Offerings plucked from a garden onsite and "made at the Ranch."

Floor to ceiling windows in the main dinning room and outdoor seating provide a classic—yet rustic—setting.

$28 adults, $17 kids 5-12, free kids 4 and younger

Comfort-food classics and an assortment of traditional McMenamins' desserts in their familiar, early '90s Bohemian flair.

The Meadows at the Lodge (Sunriver Resort)

8 am – 1 pm

$39.95 adults, $19.95 kids 6-12, free kids 5 and younger

Overseen by French-educated Chef Fabrice Beaudoin, who's embraced a concept of preparing locally grown ingredients for his light-touch culinary confections. And, oh yeah, champagne.

550 NW Franklin Ave. | 541-647-6904

Noon-3 pm.

In-town and nontraditional (the Easter Bunny never ate peanut sauce over coconut rice!), Noi offers an easy-to-access and elegant setting. Wear your finest Easter hat to bring some color to the venue.

Old Mill Brew Werks

803 SW Industrial Way | 541-633-7670

11 am - 4 pm

$6-$12 (ala carte)

Nothing wrong with a mid-brow mix-and-match Easter brunch, and especially welcoming with its later start.

Pine Tavern

967 NW Brooks St. | 541-382-5581

10 am.-3 pm.

$32 adults, $16 kids

Quaint, close to home and set in one of the oldest establishments in town. Thank goodness the food is fresher!

65600 Pronghorn Estates Drive | 541-693-5300

11 am.-1 pm.

$46 adults, $18 kids 6-12, free 5 and younger

An oasis between Bend and Redmond, Pronghorn's elegant and generous Easter brunch probably won't leave much energy to hit the links afterward.
