MISSION STATEMENT

Friends of the children support generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors for 12+ years—no matter what. Each child receives 4 hours a week of direct 1:1 time with a paid, professional mentor called a friend. Each Friend spends time with eight youth in the classroom, community and our Clubhouse.

WHAT CAN YOUR DONATIONS DO?

$10 Will support ongoing training for Friends/mentors

$25 Will support celebration for youth achieving their goals.

$50Will support a cell phone for a Friend/mentor to stay in.

$100Will support opportunities for innovative science, technology, arts, engineering and mathematics education outside of the classroom.
