Gay Rights Are Everybody's Rights

Letter to the Editor

It's so simple! The Constitution, Amendment 14, Sec. 1, states that all people have "equal protection under the laws." If heteros have the right to marry, so do gays because of equal protection." The meaning is absolutely clear. Denying it is unconstitutional. So why are we debating it? We're all the same people! It's never been tested in a federal court, but it's going to be.
