I go through (Northwest Crossing) twice a day and also walk it at least twice a day since I work near the high school. To call it a "Cottage Neighborhood" goes way outside the imagination. It's a contrivance. Buildings placed on once beautiful forestland to look like something they are not. McMansions do not come anywhere near being cottages. There are NO PEOPLE there. There is never anyone in the park, no one has been seen sitting on the porches. There are no children riding bicycles. There must be a Camelot Crew who come in at night and trim the bushes, because I have yet to see a human being mowing a lawn or anything remotely related to gardening. And could someone please explain to me why "they" continue to build when no one is buying? We don't need to be on anymore "Top Ten" lists that have nothing to do with what Bend is about.

Editor's reply: Actually the Camelot Crew shows up around 6 am. And they're very loud.
