Have a Story About The Cold War?

When: May 13-June 10 2021
bit.ly/cold-war-interview
If you're in Central Oregon and have a story about the Cold War — or have specialized knowledge of the era — and are willing to be interviewed by a high school student, then let Realms know! • Maybe you spent time in a socialist or communist country. • Maybe you served in the military and were stationed in a country like South Korea or Germany. • Maybe you lived in a city like Washington D.C. or Los Angeles that would certainly be targeted in a nuclear attack. • Maybe you are (or were) a scholar of the period. • Maybe you experienced things or were affected in ways not listed here -- that's OK, too, they still want to hear from you • The interviews will be conducted via facetime/video call OR in-person in a socially-distant way in late May. They will take about 30 minutes on average. The focus will be “What was the Cold War like, and what can we learn from it?” and select interviews may be published with permission in Bend's "The Source Weekly" newspaper (https://www.bendsource.com/).
