    Dear William,

The current form of local government is not a democracy - not a republic - not even a tyranny. We are currently being governed by a 'Technocracy" and the sooner open public meetings resume, the better. Machines are firmly in control! Instead of Skynet of Terminator, our reality has the Cloud.

I look forward to my 3 minutes of Testimony upon resumption of meetings and invite the entire community to attend. I'm going to illustrate my opinions on poverty and the homeless - unveil a new Union Flag - claim my turf as Precinct Committee Person (Valued at $10,000) - speak to recycling and redemption.

Email went out to Perkins, Russell, Piper, Campbell and others regarding a new debate and discussion this morning.

    Respectfully,
    Justin Gottlieb

    Dear Citizens and Residents,

As entered into the Public Record on Wednesday night as Testimony:

    1. Classification of less than 32 day Rental Leases as short-term rentals.
    2. Strict Rent Controls for the next 12-18 months.
    3. Avoid the hindsight of 2020- Should'a, would'a could'a.

The choice is discussing real property value related to base earnings or hyperinflation? 2.2 Trillion was injected into the marketplace and we are just getting started.

You become homeless when pre-existing shelter disappears mostly due to individual inability to pay contractual agreements within a Corporatetized system and existing economic structure. The only ethical and moral code of this system was maximizing PROFIT as a singular value.

Rent Controls were invented as a Policy Tool to level the playing field in times of sustained economic uncertainty and/or collapse. It keeps people housed and minimizes the impacts of hyperinflation within the local economy.

Is the near future a choice between 'We the People' or 'Corporate Personage'?

    Warm Regards,
    Justin Gottlieb

    Dear Editor,

Happy New Year! Here is a list of my questions for the Selected BPRD Applicants:

    1. Please list direct examples of Public (not Private of Non-profit) Action related to Bend's Record concerning 'Physical', 'Real World' projects and outcomes?

    2. Define the relationship between the Majority, Minority, Individual Members, Absentees and All These Together (Robert's Rules of Order) concerning Representational Democracy at the local level?

    3. What is the best path from visitor to Resident then resident to participating Citizen? As it Relates to Central Oregon and population growth?

    4. How do we insure equal opportunity to the American Dream (ownership) not equal outcomes (socialism)?

    5. As per Western Philosophy, does Bend sacrifice the Individual or Empower Him/Her for the good of the collective group?

    6. What was the bigger waste of Money relating to BPRD Bond Measue 9-86; Simpson Ice Pavilion or Colorado Water Area?

    7. Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...

I refer these questions for general discussion in 2020. It is hindsight. My public participation with BPRD began on May 11, 2011. I'd like the Odyssey to End and find "Happy Ever After" in Bend or elsewhere.

    Hi David,

Thanks for the update. It's been a long time since the Bethlehem Inn; the Winter of '16/'17. I am greatful to you -> an excellent Guide to Bend's Streets beginning August 2013. We are now older. The wiser part is up for debate.

Office Max Terminated my Employment the Friday before Christmas due to my Public Testimony of Wednesday, December 18, 2019 before the City Council. The 1st Amendment always goes away first. Welcome to the era of Trump's Impeachment. Pray we don't have to choose between Elected Dictator or Socialism in 2020. There has to be a better way.

    Know any good Labor Attorneys?

    Happy Chrismakkah!

Question -> Who is the 'they' to which Mr. Livingston refers? The posted list appears to be missing a few names.

    Wow!

Did our old friend Mr. Wallace excert his influence via 3rd Party? What about Mr. Smith, Taylor and BPRD?

I sent a couple emails in December/ January to Sally and Barb. Otherwise, My entire application was submitted as Transparent Public Record. It included a Bribe, Green Folio, Public Testimony and Thank You within the Assembly beginning last October. It was a fun process. Unfortunately, I think everyone missed it. They blinked or got distracted by special interests; Bill was the lone exception.

Mr. Piper and other vetted Candidates* should politely withdraw. It would give Council an additional 30 days to re-review 30+ Applications.

    Back to the drawing board.

    Hi Foster and the People,

Maybe Chris is the Pied Piper of Bend? Unlike Hamelin, we don't seem to know where and how he will lead US; might be a Pot of Gold or over a cliff.

Have we ever discussed the concept of Politically Correct Fairy Tales? Maybe instead of addressing Bend's urgent civic needs the City Council should debate construction of a Wall around Bend. It would keep all of US in and everyone else out. The Oregon Legislature could debate building a Wall along the Southern boarder with California. The Northern Boarder has a Moat called the Columbia River. The I-5 Crossing desperately needs a new bridge but it's still unfunded after a decade of Civic Discussion. Everyone wants it but nobody wants to pay. Isolationism comes in many forms.

Does Civilization really need another Wall? No State of the Union means 'No' Union - it's unprecedented. Please know, I believe Evil is alive and well in both Major political parties at all levels of Government. The beginning was over 7 years ago without the four score.

    Warm Regards,
    Justin Lewis Gottlieb
