Listen Local UPDATE: New tracks from All You All

We featured Bend rock group All You All in our second installment of the Listen Local series back in November. In that article, front man John Has-Ellison mentioned a couple of new singles the band was prepping for release.

Well, a couple of days ago All You All made good on that release. They even made good on Has-Ellison's promise that one song would be a little more "radio ready"— with an infused pop sound, and that the b-side would push the envelope a bit with down and dirty eclectic rock. Cleverly— the band labeled the tracks— titled "On the Train" and "Grime", Bait and Exchange; indicating the easy listenability of the first track and the experimentation of the second.

It's also pretty clear that All You All chose to label the second song "exchange" rather than the obvious "switch" as a result of the band's recent announcement that they will be opening for Portland group The Helio Sequence as part of the PDXchange concert series. Something you should all plan on attending on February 6 at The Tower Theatre.

Now that you've finished reading this, give the two new tracks a listen below. And just in case you love them (how could you not), All You All has made them available as FREE downloads.

Happy New Year.
