Angela Chisum, who has two children attending grade school in Bend, thanks a crowd of students for attending the National School Walkout at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on April 20, 2018. Chisum created the "Parents, Students, Teachers, Friends of Bend-La Pine School District Against Gun Violence" Facebook page, which grew to two thousand people strong within the first week following the Parkland, Fla. shooting on Feb. 14.
