Natural History Pub: Locating Bull Trout Using DNA Technology

When: Mon., Jan. 10, 7-8 p.m. 2022

Bull trout, listed as threatened by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 1999, were declared virtually absent from the Upper Deschutes River. With advances in DNA technology, it is possible to determine if populations still exist in the headwaters of the Deschutes basin.
