The new release by Ducktails is in a word: dreamy. But not dreamy in the ethereal kind of way albums from front man Matthew Mondanile main project Real Estate can be. This album— titled The Flower Lane— has meat on it. The lo-fi rock is thick with 70's psych as are the vocals. So, unlike music by Real Estate, the third album from Ducktails is more for listening to in a velvety basement than at a beach house.
