If you didn't make it to BendFilm, you might not know about a great a documentary called Wild Horse, Wild Ride, which took home the Audience Award at this year's festival. The stunning documentary shares the story of a handful of unforgettable characters as they set out on a 100-day quest to tame a wild mustang. Last Comic Standing Finals

After three weeks of preliminary rounds and semifinals, Central Oregon's Last Comic Standing has reached its final round. Here's a list of the six comics who have made it all the way to the end: Tim Finley, Stan Whitton, Jason Silveus, Chelsea Woodmansee, Alex Rios and Samantha Albert. Each of them will be hitting the stage with the hope of winning $5,000 in prizes. If you know these people, you best show up and vote for them - it's completely decided by audience vote. Fourth Annual Homegrown Reunion

Want to see pretty much every awesome act in town play on one stage? No, we're not talking about the Bend Roots Revival, but rather the Homegrown Reunion show, which brings out some excellent local musicians to play in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon. Appearing at this show are Empty Space Orchestra, Mosley Wotta, Leif James, Your Birthday, Dennis McGregor, Brent Alan & His Funky Friends, Moon Mountain Ramblers, Brad Bailey, Mark Ransom and Kaleb James. Never heard of this Oakland band? Well, you should know they're one of the foremost auteurs of the "stoner metal" genre, which means they play a ferocious brand of fast, loud sounds. This big ol' metal celebration is going to bring out a gathering of this cult band's loyal followers who will revel in songs from High on Fire's latest album, the awesomely metal-esque named Snakes for the Divine. As you're reading this, there's a chance that it's already snowed a little bit in your part of town. If so, you should be getting into the snowy mood by heading over to Saturday's rail jam at Skjersaa's on Century Drive. Mark down another kudos for the Sound Garden, Bend's newest music venue, for scoring this show featuring Nashville electronic pop rocker Kyle Andrews, whose new album, Robot Learn Love, has been in constant rotation here in the Source offices.
