New Monsoon, Moon Mountain Ramblers

The Jam-tastic bluegrass-rock from San Francisco will be rockin' the Summit Thursday with Oregon's own traditional bluegrass band Moon Mountain Ramblers. The San Franciscan quintet's new album was produced by the famed Grateful Dead producer John Cutler which is reason enough to evoke interst. The band has played every festival from Bonnaroo to Summerfest making them seasoned tour veterans. Catch this show, you won't be disappointed. Bend's MMR opens. Greensky Bluegrass

Acoustic fun from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Performing at festivals, theaters, clubs and listening rooms all over the US, their rare, traditional sound is piquing the interests of not only bluegrass enthusiasts, but lovers of music of all genres. It is their unique "fusion of tradition and enthusiasm for improvisation" that has come to define the band's creative and tangible compositional style. The band has collaborated with every bluegrass flavored ensemble from the likes of The Yonder Mountain String Band to The Avett Brothers. 9pm. $8. WVMS Blues, Amuse And Brews

This all ages, community-focused par-tay features live music from the WVMS Roots Music Group, the Mostest, the Moon Mountain Ramblers, El Dante and Person People's Jason Graham, along with food, drink, dancing, auction action and comedy. The name of the event has been around for a while but doesn't really do it justice. It's really Bend's finest coming together for a huge evening's worth of exceptional entertainment. The event is being sponsored by a new non-profit organization called, "Friends of Westside Village Magnet School." 100% of the Proceeds benefit Westside Village Magnet School. Free babysitting. Trek Mountain Bike Demo

Head up to Phil's Trailhead and test-ride Trek and Fisher mountain bikes for free. Dax Tobin with Trek Bicycle Demo will be in town with a van full of the latest and greatest from Trek, Fisher, and Lemond. The tour is traveling throughout the country educating riders on product, proper bicycle fit, and offering the opportunity to ride a variety of bicycles. Bend's own hip hop supercrew presents their first all ages show since last October. Accompaning them on stage this time will be: Mr. Gone, Gainon The Illyrikill and Ages Of Vice. The relentless wrath of this local band has pushed them into local fame. The new album is rumored to feature hip-hip legends KRS-One and Talib Kweli. Lava City Roller Dolls vs. Slaughter County Roller Vixens

Bend's own Roller Dolls face off with some wannabes from somewhere else. Composed of women from all walks of life, many varied backgrounds, and many different professions: nurses, mothers, business owners, fitness trainers, waitresses, students... Go out and support them as they try to reach their goal of becoming members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association "WFTDA" and represent Bend, Oregon by competing at the National level. N.F.F.U., Larry And His Flask, Hands On Throat

Boise-based thrash punkers bring the crass n' crazy, making a stop on their national tour to jam with some of Central Oregon's finest punk bands: Redmond's Larry And His Flask and Bend's Hands on Throat.
