Sasquatch! Music Festival
If you're a regular reader of our Bent blog on tsweekly.com, odds are you are well versed in what bands are playing, how to get tickets (it's sold out) and everything Sasquatch. Our very own Mike Bookey heads up to the gigantic Memorial Day weekend music festival and if you were lucky enough to snag some tickets before they sold out maybe you'll be there, too. Here's a peek at the lineup for those headed up and for those endlessly envious of those heading up: Friday - Foo Fighters; Saturday - The Thermals, Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, Sleigh Bells, Pink Martini; Sunday - Cold War Kids, The Flaming Lips, Ratatat, Modest Mouse; Monday - The Decemberists!!!, Wilco. At least for those of us staying in Bend we've got Death Cab, Bright Eyes, Jenny & Johnny, The Decemberists and Rodrigo y Gabriella to look forward to this weekend. The Gorge Amphitheater.

Fitz and The Tantrums
In their first of two outdoor shows in the Northwest, the second being Sunday at Sasquatch, Fitz and The Tantrums bring their hip-shaking soul music the Portland Rose Festival. Perhaps you've heard Fitz's Motown-inspired "Money Grabber?" And if not, you should. 6pm, Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

Iron & Wine, The Head and The Heart
Perhaps the greatest side effect of having such a killer musical festival so close by is that some of the best bands playing that weekend stop by Portland (and Bend) on their way to or from the fest. As is the case with Iron & Wine and The Head and The Heart, which are two incredible folk-inspired bands not to be missed. 7pm, Crystal Ballroom.

Flogging Molly
It doesn't have to be St. Patrick's Day for you to enjoy the hard rockin' Celtic punk rock of Flogging Molly. Also, you don't have to be drunk to enjoy their rollickingly fun drinking songs, but we're sure it probably helps. Shake your shamrock with one of L.A.'s favorite Irish folk-punk bands. 7:30pm, McDonald Theatre.
