PICK: Shawn Colvin

FOLK—With 10 Grammy nominations and three wins, folk singer Shawn Colvin is quietly accomplished. Though she may be best known for her 1997 hit single “Sunny Came Home,” Colvin has been collaborating with high profile musicians—James Taylor, Béla Fleck, Emmylou Harris and the like—for years. And her musical candor recently crossed over into print, with the publication of her memoir, “Diamond in the Rough.”

7 pm. Tower Theatre, 835 NW Wall St. $49.50-$60.50.
