Salgado has earned a reputation for high-energy performances and his wide repertoire of soul, blues and R&B. The award-winning vocalist, harmonicist and songwriter is touring on the heels of his latest album, "The Beautiful Lowdown," rife with memorable melodies and funky grooves. 7:30pm. Careaoke for a Cure

KARAOKE

Did you miss the first round of one of the largest karaoke contests in Central Oregon last week? Belt out your favorite song for Round 2 of this annual Relay for Life fundraiser. Ari Hoenig Trio

JAZZ

Prepare for a night of smooth jazz from one of the most respected contemporary artists in the jazz world. Ari Hoenig, jazz drummer virtuoso, picked up piano and violin at four years old and drums at 12 years old, and by the age of 14 was playing in jazz clubs. The trio—consisting of Hoenig on drums, Gilad Hekselman on guitar and Orlando le Flemming on bass—has toured extensively in Europe, Japan and South America. This will be their only performance in Oregon (take that, Portland!) so take advantage of this rare opportunity to enjoy a solid night of jazz from this talented trio. Doors open at 6:30pm. 7pm. ScaleHouse & Caldera Arts Center presents Creative Activism workshop

ART

Looking for inspiration? Daniela Molnar, an assistant professor at Pacific Northwest College of Art, merges art with activism in this creative workshop. Learn about artists who have historically confronted social, political and ecological crises and how contemporary artists are approaching art as activism. Ready to jump in? Bring a tool that you associate with art-making, one that relates to activism and one object that represents something that you care deeply about. ScaleHouse seeks to connect creative thinkers in Bend and the surrounding communities, providing opportunities or artist congregation and collaboration, education and exhibition. 10am-3pm. Bend Ale Run

RUN

This race combines two of Bend's passions—running and craft beer! Cross the finish line and find yourself at the Ale Festival—with over 40 beers from 20 regional breweries. Not a runner?
