Bend police are on the search for an armed robber accused of allegedly robbing the Conoco gas station located directly in front of the Sugarloaf motel yesterday.

According to the police report, the victim, who was a gas station attendant, reported that the suspect broke the glass door leading into the gas station office, showed a firearm and demanded money. The suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled the scene.

The Bend Police Department had extra help from the Deschutes County Sheriff and the State Police during the extensive search, however, the suspect has yet to be located. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Bend Police Department at 541-693-6911.
