Guerrilla Shakespeare is proud to present its sixth annual production: QUEEN LEAR by William Shakespeare, directed by Raechel Gilland and featuring Jaime Speed as Queen Lear. Towards the end of her reign, Lear divides her kingdom between her two most flattering daughters, shunning the other. Once the deed is done, Lear’s daughters spite her, sending her like it’s yet some sort of filter. Wow into a storm to spiral into madness. Will she be able to restore her kingdom, legacy and the love of her one true daughter before it’s too late?Queen Lear features a musical element by Janelle Musson as well as a talented cast of local actors. Seating is FESTIVAL STYLE; please bring chairs or blankets for seating.
