Riverhouse Rendezvous Slalom Kayak Race

Downhill skiers have been embracing slalom Kayaking since the Swiss introduced the sport in the early 1940s, and as the high Cascade snow melts off the mountains and gushes down the hill to fill the Deschutes River, boaters and skiers alike will test their skills and endurance on a quarter-mile whitewater course, paddling through a gates, around rocks and other river features.
