Halloween at Volcanic

Local music reigns at this diverse Halloween extravaganza, featuring everything from rocking protests songs, to hip-hop to sludge rock. Bend's hip-hop royalty Mosley Wotta will be joined by nightmarish and industrial electro-metal band Warm Gadget, cello-looper Third Seven, and Jesse Marshall of Larry and His Flask and friends performing an acoustic rock set as Marshall Law. 9:30 pm. Volcanic Theatre Pub, 70 SW Century Dr. $10 for both events, $7 for each event.

Decoded

A three-piece rock group from Los Angeles, Decoded's most recent album (along with the tour that will stop in Redmond) is titled Topanga, age-dating the band as children of the '90s. The band's music reflects that '90s aesthetic and upbringing with elements of Smashing Pumpkins, Jack White, and Queens of the Stone Age. Fri., Oct. 31. Big T's, 413 SW Glacier Ave., Redmond.

The Oh Hellos

With sweet indie-folk pop songs about broken hearts and restless souls, the gorgeous balance of male and female harmonies of The Oh Hellos is a soothing melody bound for open roads and smoothly sailed seas. With quickly paced canyon songs and melodic ballads, the band sounds like a mixture of The Lumineers and She and Him. 7 pm. McMenamins, 700 NW Bond St. Free.
