Munch & Music: Fruition
There's no such thing as a free lunch, but during the summer months in Bend, free concerts are a nightly reality. A musical foodie's dream, Munch & Music returns to Drake Park for the 24th consecutive year. Armed with 24 or more strings at any given moment between two guitars, a bass and a mandolin, Portland quintet Fruition are toe-tapping goofballs sure to have the park alive with twangy hill music. Thurs., July 10 5:30 pm, Drake Park. Free. (BB)
Cerny Brothers
These Illinois siblings write sweet banjo picking ditties that build into chugging kick-heavy, harmonious bounders about the most relatable of topics; the Midwest, whiskey and women. We hate to make this comparison, but if you like Mumford and Sons, you'll probably enjoy the Cerny Brothers. Sun., July 6 2:30 pm. Les Schwab Amphitheater, 344 SW Shevlin Hixon Dr. Free. (BB)
