Tim Cash: he could be your future music video director.Hey you there! Yes you, the one holding the newspaper. You're either a solo artist or are in a local band right? How would you like a free music video?

Well, you're in luck because the Source Weekly and Far From Earth Films are teaming up for the first-ever Local Music Video Contest to give away a completely free two-day music video shoot. All you have to do is submit your band's most killer track and if you win, you're going to have yourself a music video directed by local filmmaker Tim Cash. We're opening this up to all local groups, solo acts, duets, trios and any other assortment of musicians you might have...if you're making music and want to be in a video, send us your music. Remember the bee girl from the Blind Melon video? That could be you...

All you have to do is e-mail your song (in mp3 format) to timcash@farfromearthfilms.com by December 31 and you'll be considered for the free video. The winner will be announced the first week of January and the final product will appear at tsweekly.com upon completion. Also, the runner up will receive a gift certificate to Steve's Drum Studio.

OK, now that you're done reading this...send us your songs!
