There has always been wolves in Oregon. Twenty years ago while backpacking in the Strawberry wilderness area I, my wife and two sons saw a large male. Five years ago three of us elk hunting in the Tillammok burn saw what was clearly a wolf. I recorded two "talking" high up along the Umpqua divide several miles from Lemolo res. on three consecutive nights running three years ago while dry camped on the top of a peak. If you've ever heard a wolf howl in the wilderness, you would damn well know that there is no way of mistaking what you are hearing. Your hair will stand straight up, if you have any. We called that camp "the howlings." Two years ago my wife and I both clearly saw a large wolf while we camped in Diamond peak wilderness area. This winter we saw one for several minutes playing with a rodent near Florence, Oregon in a remote area. It is a well known fact by many folks that I've met over the years in remote areas that wolves have been here all along. The ODFW has always maintained that Officially there aren't any, but one time when I stopped an ODFW officer along a primitive road out in the woods and played the recording to him, he just smiled and said, "It is our official position that there are no wolves in Oregon, wink wink." Any observant person who has spent a great deal of time in Oregon's remotest places knows the ODFW 'official' position is full of shit and always has been.

Half the populace of the freaking planet can get pregnant already, and do so more than I would prefer. So, I'll leave that job to the ladies. They seem to be really good at it, as I can attest from personal experience. What the hell, call me old fashioned, but the concept makes me want to knock back a tall one and then slap the shit out of somebody.

"anti-Christian (as I know Christianity)" Well, Bates, Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13 are extremely clear on the subject and Jude 7 doesn't leave a whole lot to the imagination. "Be put to death" for the practice of homosexuality sounds like the Christian Gowuhd is more than just a tad against it. I suggest that before you 'pontificate' (chuckle) about the recommendations of Christianity on the subject of acceptable sexual behavior, you should go steal a Bible somewhere and then read it.

I don't believe the Democrats hold the high moral ground here...or anywhere. "Let those without Fear and Smear, cast the first boot." Both parties cast fear and smear...routinely. The booters come off as hypocritical...

Imagine...actually getting a horse...BEFORE building a whole bunch of carts...a novel concept, indeed. The whole idea makes too damn much sense... When has Bend ever done anything sensibly? Go ahead and exhale...

Spot On. I can see a hold...while you get your act together to support it...or oppose it...or add to it...etc. But we ought to know who is doing it and why...and there should be a limit on the time it can be held up. No wonder they don't get a damn thing done! Jeez!
