Win Tickets to See Tony Furtado on Friday

Want to win free tickets to see Tony Furtado on Friday night? Yeeeeah, we thought you did.

For the first time in more than a year, Tony Furtado is returning to Bend, this time playing a show at the Old Stone Church on Friday night.

You probably want to go, don't you? Yeah, that's right. You remember when the rootsy multi-instrumentalist and his band tore up downtown at Bite of Bend 2008 and you want more.

Well, The Source has some tickets to give away for the show, and here's how you could win a pair. All you have to do is e-mail me ( with Tony Furtado in the subject line. In the body of the e-mail just answer this question: If Tony Furtado was an automobile, what would he be? Also, we'll need a name and contact number.

If you win, we'll notify you by Friday morning! Good luck.

By the way, we've got plenty of other ticket giveaways coming soon, so keep an eye on the Blender.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the talented (and now married) Matt & Kali in Bend Oregon… but that’s all going to change tonight at Silver Moon Tap Room! If you’ve missed past coverage of The Ascetic Junkies, well… you must have been hidden under a rock. From their 2010 album This Cage Has No Bottom, to the new music they are creating (and are sure to share with us tonight), most people just can’t get enough of their unique folk/rock/pop/dance goodness.
