But Upfront still had to question this week the point of plowing on Monday morning when nary an inch of snow fell on most parts of Bend. But there was the city plowman blasting away down 8th Street sending a shower of cinders, pine needles, and a few stray snowflakes flying into parked cars and any other object unfortunate enough to be in the path of project "Dry Plow."
Don't get us wrong, we're glad that Bend is plowing this year - unlike some other winters - but enough is enough. And while you're at it ease up on the cinders, they're dulling up our studs. WTF?
