Most folks have come to know and love Redmond-based band Larry and His Flask over the years and if you're one of those folks, you may have run into one of the band's biggest fans, Rich Marshall, the father of LAHF's Jamin and Jesse Marshall. Rich, an airplane mechanic, is currently undergoing treatment for pancreatic and liver cancer, and this event is a fundraiser to help with his treatment fund. The lineup includes plenty of local and regional acts, including Robert Dalton, Bethany Taylor, The Dela Project and, of course, Larry and His Flask. $15 includes chili dinner. 5pm. Beer Olympics

This is not an Olympic year, which is too bad, but that doesn't mean that we can't have an Olympics of beer, and that is what's going down at Old Mill Brew Werks on Saturday when Bend faces Portland in a battle of the brews.
