The long, oftentimes slow path to bringing a DIY skatepark to Bend continues in the Division Street Skatepark Project, which benefits from the sale of skateboard decks that have been arted up by local visionaries. We've had some fun writing about this Boise trio over the past year during which they've played a pair of shows at the Silver Moon. But now, the band is playing its biggest stage with a free performance at McMenamins. Finn Riggins prides itself on often-complex arrangements that are both poppy and experimental. Mystic Roots Band

Hailing from Chico, California, home to the headquarters of Major League Partying, the Mystic Roots Band has come through Bend before, once as the backing band for Jamaican reggae legend Pato Banton. They have a steady following on the West Coast and have worked their way up the reggae food chain over the years.
