With the recent release of its third full-length album, Portland band Amelia proves it has staying power. A Long, Lovely List of Repairs showcases the band's distinctive blend of pop, Americana and rock. Teisha Helgerson's silky clear vocals are perfectly complemented by Scott Weddle on guitar and Jesse Emerson on bass. From Spanish influenced guitar-driven songs like "Thick As Thieves" to bluesy "Dolores," Amelia keeps their listener's attention. 8pm, McMenamins Old St. Francis School. 700 NW Bond St. 382-5174.

There's about an eighth of a mile of continuous food vendors at this annual downtown get down and we'll give you a hardy slap on the back if you eat a meal from each of 'em. There's also a damn good music lineup featuring locals like El Dante and the increasingly awesome David Bowers Colony (a must see Americana-laced rock act, especially if Bowers whips out his double-neck guitar) as well as all-star Oregonian stringster Tony Furtado, who you can read about in the Sound section. Downtown Bend. Entertainment begins at 11am each day.
Bend Pride

Once again, the Human Dignity Coalition brings out the gusto to celebrate diversity in Bend. As always, Bend Pride welcomes revelers of all sexual orientations for a day of music from the likes of Joe Leonardi, Jenni Peskin, and fresh face to the Bend scene Jenna Linbo, among others. Food, beer, games and downright good times accompany conversation and celebration of newly passed domestic partnership and anti-discrimination laws. Noon-6pm, McKay Park.
