Great, strange things come from great, strange things. Case in point: EOTO, the electronic music duo comprised of former String Cheese Incident drummers Michael Travis and Jason Hann. Hardly discouraged by the dissolution of SCI last summer, the pair converted their momentum with the world famous jam band into a cross-country tour as EOTO. The sound of their new act is only minimally Cheese-like - the main similarity involves the parallel hypnotic properties of rock-fueled jams (String Cheese) and endless dance club grooves (EOTO). In EOTO, Hann mans the drums, while Travis plays and loops a variety of instruments, from guitar to keys, with ample ambient techno flair (if you will). Dancers, start your glow sticks.
