While Ralphie May performs the same night at the Tower, a more affordable option for nationally touring stand-up comedy comes from Tyler Boeh. Boeh's high energy and quick wit, paired with his beat boxing skills and a touch of silly, physical comedy make for a gut-busting evening of entertainment. Isles, Corner Gospel Explosion, and Blue Eyed Lucy
There's just something about local band Isles, and its beautiful indie rock jams. The ambient, post-rock sounds like something out of a dream; a melodic, multi-layered vision you want to dig deeper into and find out more. Rob Larkin with Micah Peterson
Rob Larkin's vocals flow in the same vein as Jason Mraz or John Mayer, while the music he plays takes on more of an Americana sound similar to Dr. Dog or Dawes. Yes, an odd, but engaging combination. No matter how you try to categorize it, Larkin plays music that will grab your focus and keep it all night long. His rich music blends Americana, roots rock and soul while telling a story.
