4 Peaks Music Festival Returns for 2011

The 4 Peaks Music Festival returns to Bend this summer.

I just got word from festival organizers that the 4 Peaks Music Festival will be going down once again in 2011.

The two-day event is slated for July 15-16 at the Rockin A Ranch in Tumalo, the site of the 2007 and 2008 editions of the festival. Once again, Poor Man's Whiskey is headlining the festival.

After taking 2009 off, 4 Peaks returned with a small-scale event last summer that bounced between locations before again landing at the Rockin' A Ranch.

This year's lineup features mostly jam-oriented Bay Area bands, including New Monsoon, Ten Mile Tide, in addition to Colorado's Elephant Revival. Also on the bill are Taarka, local favorites Moon Mountain Ramblers, and Huckle. More artists are to be announced.

Tickets are $40 (camping included) for both days and are on sale beginning March 15 at BrownPaperTickets.com.

UPDATE: Acorn Project has been added to the lineup.
