The Bent Blog is celebrating tonight at Velvet, then heading over to see Galactic.

As you may already know, this blog is hosting a party tonight and it's gonna be suhweeet.

We're giving away free CDs and books and at least one T-shirt. All you have to do is show up at Velvet tonight between 7pm and 10pm and you can help yourself to free stuff (But don't be a jerk about it take all the CDs and run out the door laughing).

You can also get $3 Three Creeks beers and $4 specialty cocktails. Why? Because we love our readers, that's why.

After the party, there's a strong contingent of folks heading over to the Domino Room for Galactic's big ol' dance party. We didn't ask the band or anything, but I'm going to go ahead and say that the Bent party is now the officially unofficial Galactic Pre Party.

That show kicks off at 9pm with a set from DJ Smoke, followed by Galactic's headlining gig.

Gonzo, the Source's party robot (pictured above) sadly won't be attending the party. He's in the shop getting his tequila dispenser repaired.
